What / Where I Ate in Anaheim, California, U.S.A. - MCDONALD'S - part 2

On our fourth day in California, we went back again to Mickey-D's in Anaheim, which is situated a few blocks away from the Anaheim Convention Center, for our breakfast. Day 3 of the EXPO Though I have this stick-to-itivness attitude when it comes to liking foods in certain eateries, but that morning, I decided to try another kind (though still with Mexican taste) of breakfast meal - the McBURRITO Breakfast! I went for iced coffee since I badly needed a large dose of caffeine to keep me up and alert that day.  What I loved in this meal was the mixed berry yogurt!  My food rating = 9 of 10! See my previous McDonald's post HERE . Photos taken using Samsung S Duos cellphone. Travel and Eat good food, everyday!

What / Where I Ate in Buena Park, California, U.S.A. - Knott's Berry Farm Chicken-To-Go

The hotel that accommodated us on our stay in the Orange country of California was Knott's Berry Farm Hotel.  The hotel was just adjacent to the 12th most visited amusement park in Buena Park, which is the Knott's Berry Farm.  Though we did stay at the park's hotel but we never had the time to have a peek of what's in store in the classic theme park.  We only strolled outside the premises and we grabbed our dinner one time at the Knott's Berry Farm CHICKEN TO-GO .   Since this is a take-away or to-go eatery, the menu options were expectedly minimal.  The activities of the hardworking team of Chicken To-Go were very transparent which gave us, customers the confidence on the cleanliness and quality of their foods. This man was responsible for the final checking and packing of orders.  And the lady beside him was in-charged of handing the orders to the respective customers. And this was our dinner.  A meal that was good for two and shared for

What / Where I Ate in Anaheim, California, U.S.A. - MCDONALD'S

For our breakfasts in the next remaining days of the expo, we decided to head over to a more affordable breakfast house as we needed to stretch on our budget for food.   McDONALD'S was our ultimate choice. DAY 2 of the Expo I was hugely fired up with the thought of having the chance to eat McDonald's from its home court.  Of course, almost everyone knows that McDonald's originated in the United States of America and that morning was the best chance for me to finally taste the real deal. By the way, have you seen The Founder movie released this year? It is a story about McDonald's, its origin and success through the years.  If you ask me, I have not seen the whole movie but have a number of sightings with the teaser  / promotional videos. They have indicated stations at the counter for order and pick-up which gives organization within the customers in queue. I never set expectations for the menu options, maybe because I anticipated that th

What / Where I Ate in Anaheim, California, U.S.A. - DENNY'S

The word DINER is common in America as there exists a number small fast-food restaurants (this basically defines the word) across the states of the country. One famous diner chain of the country is DENNY'S ! It was dinnertime when we headed to the diner.  Rice, rice, rice was all in my head on our way to Denny's. And so I ordered for the ALASKA SALMON, because I do love salmon, as influenced by my forever food buddy... and because this dish is served with Whole Grain RICE! From the insight we have collected after our meal at IHOP, see my blog post here , my officemate and I decided again to share the plate on whatever we opted to order. Her choice was the SIRLOIN STEAK, not rice, just the potato strips. My ratings: Restaurant Concept = 8 of 10 Menu Options  = 8 of 10 Food Serving Size = 10 of 10 (one order can be shared for two or even three small appetites) Overall Food Taste = 9   of 10 (it was my first time to taste whole gr

What / Where I Ate in Buena Park, California, U.S.A. - IHOP Restaurant

It was the first day of the expo (the primary reason why I travelled to the United States of America) and we need to have full breakfast as we were expecting an exhausting day.  That day, we were already rented with a car and we can drive and eat anywhere we wanted.  It was a unanimous decision that we have to try one of the famous breakfast houses in America, which is IHOP Restaurant . IHOP is actually just an acronynm of the eatery's longer full name which is  I nternational H ouse O f P ancakes. And by its name, obviously, one can expect that their main offering is PANCAKE! My officemate, Sheynne and I ordered for the BEST COMBO on the menu, as pictured above.  F.Y.I., we equally shared one order of the combo. As a blogger, I also have this propensity to do in-depth reading to acquire more information of the restaurants I am reviewing.  And when I researched about IHOP ,  they have been around in the food industry for almost 6 decades (next year).  I

What / Where I Ate in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. - THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY

The Cheesecake Factory has always been one dream restaurant.  Since few years back when my sister began blabbering about the yummiest cheesecake she have ever tasted from The Cheesecake Factory, I was wondering if I could also then agree with her if given the chance to have even just a bite of that famous and intriguing cheesecake.  When she returned from her U.S. trips, we accompanied her with her search in Cebu City for a cheesecake that might be at par or will have a much more better taste to that yummiest cheesecake she was craving.  Unfortunately, none of those challengers won.  The original cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory is still her number contender, her favorite.  The fact still remains that none of us at home could relate to her delicious stories of that one-of-a-kind cheesecake. And when I travelled to the United States of America,  my officemate's aunt and her cousin invited us for a welcome dinner when we met them at Los Angeles and brought us to, guess wh

What / Where I Ate in Camarillo, California, U.S.A. - Charley's Philly Steaks

The very first American shopping outlet I have visited during my U.S.A. travel few months ago, was CAMARILLO Premium Outlets in Camarillo, California. After several hours of store-hopping in the outlet compound, we decided to have lunch at their food court.  And I opted for CHARLEY's PHILLY STEAKS among the other food shop options. CHARLEY'S PHILLY STEAKS is a counter-service chain offering a Philly-style of cheesesteaks, loaded fries and lemonades. I was not able to take note the exact names of my orders, but I sure did order for the loaded gourmet fries, cheesesteak and ice-cold lemonade! My ratings : Food Court Concept = 9 of 10 Food Shop Options at the Food Court = 5 of 10 Menu Options of Selected Food Shop = 7 of 10 Food Serving Size = 10 of 10 (American regular size is equivalent to Large in the Phils.) Food Taste = 9 of 10 Ambiance = 8 of 10 Services of Staff of Selected Food Shop = 10 of 10 This particular branch
