But when you utter the word Tokyo twice, it becomes a Japanese fast food restaurant chain that originated in the Philippines: TOKYO TOKYO!

This branch in SM Seaside City in Cebu is the only branch of TOKYO TOKYO in the city. Upon its opening, the people were very ecstatic that finally, the famous Japanese fast food chain in Manila has finally made its way to the Queen City of the South, Cebu.
Here is a list of the foods that we ordered for our lunch one time at this eatery, see the photos too:
1. BRAISED PORK RAMEN
Expectation vs. Reality: The photo of the ramen on the menu was way too photogenic than how it actually looked when served right in front of our eyes.
Taste: Lacked that wow factor. Hence, no wonderful memories registered in my gastronomic bank of food taste memoirs.

Taste and Size: Typical of a gyoza
3. COMPLETE BENTO MEAL - CALIFORNIA MAKI UPGRADE: 3 PCS PRAWN TEMPURA
Comments on the Individual Foods in the bento set:
--- The VEGGIES was a melange of cabbage galore and slim strips of carrots. It was quite oily but somehow that grease added to the good taste of the green dish.
--- The STEAMED WHITE JAPANESE RICE with black sesame seeds is always a favorite of mine.
--- The PRAWN TEMPURA's breading taste was somehow delicious but the size of the prawn inside was between of bigger than small and smaller than medium. Do you get what I am trying to describe?
--- The CALIFORNIA MAKI tasted just perfect with a wasabi and the soy sauce.
--- The WASABI Paste did not leave a euphoric impression on my palate, hence I was not impressed with the taste of the paste. When it comes to wasabi, I am loving those kinds which impart traces of pangs and angst on my tongue and soft/hard palates - that is an authentic wasabi paste in my opinion!
4. COMPLETE BENTO MEAL - CLASSIC UPGRADE: BEST CHICKEN TERIYAKI

--- Similar comments for the VEGGIES and STEAMED WHITE RICE in item no. 3.
--- The CHICKEN TERIYAKI's taste have met my expectations. Love the grilled chicken with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
--- The RED ICED TEA is synthetically flavored in my opinion and partially refreshing.
--- The DESSERT was sort of a jelly and nonetheless tasted ordinary.
